Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol X Ray Checkpoint in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with guests and team members, and use technology to document observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, entrances, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor activity within the location and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive conduct through a professional presence and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
