The Place for Talent
About the opportunity:
Purpose
The Charter Hall Diversified Sector encompasses funds, partnerships and mandates with a diversified sector investment strategy across both listed and wholesale capital investors. Currently, the sector has total funds under management of ~$14 billion across nine separate funds with investments across all assets classes; industrial & logistics, office, retail and social infrastructure.
The division primarily comprises the Diversified Investment Management Team, that has responsibility over the investment management function of these funds whilst asset, property and development management of the portfolios are undertaken by respective sector teams. The team therefore works directly with each sector to deliver portfolio outcomes and performance in line with fund strategy. The Diversified team also works closely with each sector of the Capital Transaction Team to execute on acquisition or divestment opportunities based on portfolio strategy and sector allocations.
Funds under management of the Diversified Sector team includes the ASX listed Charter Hall Long WALE REIT (ASX: CLW). CLW is an Australian Real Estate Investment Trust ("REIT") focused on providing investors with stable and secure income and the potential for both income and capital growth through an exposure to long WALE properties. The REIT is actively managed to grow the portfolio through direct and indirect investments across multiple real estate sectors. The REIT is focused on assets that are predominantly leased to tenants with strong covenants on long term leases. Current portfolio GAV of ~$6.0bn.
The Diversified Sector Team also manages [8] wholesale partnerships and mandates of approximately $8.0bn in value.
