Production Engineer / Civil Engineer I

Location: Logan, UT | North Salt Lake, UT | Vernal, UT

Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year (Depending on Experience)

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

 

Foresight Land Surveying, a BHI Company, is seeking an energetic, driven Production Engineer to join our growing Engineering Division. QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
• 1–2 years of hands-on engineering experience looking to broaden technical foundations (construction or civil infrastructure experience preferred).
• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification or Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., advanced CAD, BIM, FEM analysis, or spreadsheets).
• Strong analytical capabilities, excellent English communication skills, and knowledge of engineering codes and safety standards.

As a Production Engineer on our Foresight Land Surveying engineering team, you will dive straight into active technical design projects. Working under the guidance of seasoned engineering leaders, you will design civil infrastructure, collect and analyze field data, and prepare precise site plans and technical specifications. You will collaborate daily with local authorities, project managers, and client stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and ensure code compliance. Balancing structured office modeling with active jobsite visits, you will gain invaluable practical experience while playing a key role in delivering high-impact engineering projects on time and within budget.
