As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Security in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, support access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and guests at a technology and media location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Staff the front desk and reception area, greet visitors professionally, verify identification and visitor authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Monitor access to the facility, receive and direct deliveries and service providers, and communicate site requirements to visitors and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as directed.
• Monitor security-related systems and incoming communications from the front desk, document observations and incidents, and help to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
