Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol / Access Control in Imperial, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a dynamic technology location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support badge-related activities. Deliver outstanding customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused business location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site requirements; assist with directing authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation; communicate observations and shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
