As a Security Officer Hospital in Valencia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, with working conditions varying across the site.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations as required.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and disruptive activity by monitoring access points, observing site conditions, and reporting concerns through established channels.
- Assist with directing visitors, providing escorts when assigned, and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
