Your Daily Contribution & Impact:
The Sales Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for driving profitable sales growth within an assigned territory by managing customer relationships, promoting PBE products and services, and executing the go-to-market strategy. The role requires strong business acumen, technical knowledge of the collision repair industry, and the ability to deliver measurable value to customers.
Customer & Market Development
- Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory, ensuring achievement of sales and margin targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent shops, dealerships, MSOs, and collision repair networks.
- Identify new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of prospects.
- Lead customer negotiations and present tailored solutions aligned with customer needs.
Business & Sales Execution
- Actively promote the PBE product portfolio, including paint brands, body shop supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare and follow up on proposals, quotations, and CI (Customer Investment) business cases.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and ensure retention.
- Execute on sales plans and initiatives defined by the Regional Sales Manager.
Technical & Product Support
- Work closely with Technical Representatives to deliver training, product demos, and technical solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activities.
- Provide input to the product and marketing teams based on customer feedback.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate customer records, call reports, and pipeline updates in CRM tools.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, credit management, and contractual obligations.
Expertise & Essential Skills:
- Proven track record in sales or account management, preferably in automotive or PBE industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a territory role.
- Business acumen with the ability to develop and justify CI business cases.
- Technical understanding of paint and body shop processes (an asset).
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and reporting systems.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the territory.

- Achievement of sales and gross margin targets.
- Growth of territory market share and customer base.
- Execution of CI investments with positive ROI.
- Customer retention and satisfaction.
- Contribution to network penetration (CSN, Carstar, Fix, Simplicity, CCS, etc.).
