Please note: This posting is for a 4, 8, 12 month Student Winter 2027
Student placement with a start date of January 11, 2027 and end-date of April 30, 2027, August 20, 2027 or beyond.
In order to be eligible for this Winter Student position, you must either:
Be returning back to school after the work term end-date in August 2027/December 2027; or
If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2027/August 2027), but you require the work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully.

We’re seeking a Data Analyst to join our Personal Banking team and play a key role in transforming data into actionable strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge Business Intelligence technologies, refine your analytical skills, and contribute to meaningful business decisions.

What will you do?
Depending on your placement, you may:
- Identify, manage, analyze, and interpret data to support the creation of meaningful and actionable insights that drive business growth.
- Work with cutting-edge Business Intelligence technologies and data tools to streamline processes and enhance decision-making.
- Develop creative problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex business challenges.
- Refine your communication and presentation skills by presenting findings and recommendations to business partners and senior management.
- Engage with various parts of the data lifecycle, including building data pipelines, feature engineering, data deep dives, and machine learning model development.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and Business Intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for data and a desire to drive business growth through insights.
Nice-to-have (varies by placement):
- Familiarity with databases, data engineering concepts, or cloud technologies.
- Exposure to software development practices, application support, or workflow automation.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bilingualism (English and /French) written and spoken.
