Labcorp is seeking an Intern – Medical Technologist (Targeted Cell Isolation) to join our team in Singapore
Internship Details:
- Duration: at least 20 weeks, full-time (Onsite)
- Dates of Internship: Jan – Jun 2027
- Compensation: Paid internship
- Eligibility: Final-year students who are expected to graduate in Jul/Aug 2027 are preferred. However, students at all academic levels who are pursuing relevant fields of study are encouraged to apply.
About Team:
Targeted cell isolation plays a critical role in preparing high-quality samples for downstream phenotypic and functional analyses, particularly in the context of clinical trials and precision medicine.
Internship Assignment Summary:
You will learn about the various assays and their applications which are essential for clinical and commercial applications which have facilitated the discovery of new diagnostics and treatments to manage a wide array of diseases.
- Attend training sessions to support the daily activities of the department.
- Receive and sort samples in Envision, support batch creation and preparation.
- Develop a streamlined and repeatable process for managing inventory of fast-moving consumables, while enabling accurate forecasting based on usage trend.
- Exposure to instrument and equipment maintenance in a laboratory setting.
- Experience in PBMC isolation using Donor blood samples.
- May be involved in any project that will cater to operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related Bachelor's degree programs. Other degree programs can also be considered

- Able to organize data and documents effectively.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
- Have the “can-do” and proactive mindset when resolving issues.
