The Opportunity
Established in 1998, our Bangkok office advises Thai and international clients on disputes and corporate matters in Thailand and globally. Our cross-offering proficiency of disputes and corporate spans across automotive, aviation, construction and infrastructure, consumer and retail, energy and resources including renewables, banks and financial institutions, manufacturing and industrials, insurance, private capital, real estate and hospitality, TMT and more. Our corporate team focuses on M&A, joint ventures, FDI, compliance, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, data privacy and cybersecurity, employment & labour, and full spectrum of competition/antitrust matters including merger control.
We are seeking a talented Junior Associate to join our leading Southeast Asia Corporate practice in Bangkok. Working within a globally integrated team, you will be exposed to sophisticated transactional work, complex cross-border matters, and some of the most recognised companies and investors operating in the region. This is an opportunity to develop your legal expertise in a dynamic international environment while contributing to matters at the forefront of the market.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Thai law qualification;
- Strong academic background;
- Previous legal working experience if any;
- Strong legal research and organisational skills;
- Excellent command of written and spoken Thai;
- Good command of written and spoken English;
- Commercially minded, with a keen awareness of business demands and global developments;
- Growth and positive mindset with strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Strong interest in corporate matters; and
- Enthusiastic, communicative and hard-working team-player.
