Location: Bremerton, Washington 

Type: Exempt 

Compensation: $85,200.00 - $123,500.00 per year (Tessera's compensation strategy is to position new employees between the minimum and midpoint of this range, depending on qualifications and experience.) 

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (flexible start and end times depending on scheduling needs) 

 

As a Quality Program Manager, you'll… The Tessera Quality Program Managers provides leadership to ensure all documentation is created, reviewed, approved, and retained in accordance with established procedures and regulatory compliance requirements. They are responsible for the management and direction in coordinating all quality system data and operational/administrative ISO systems companywide. The position works closely with all Tessera non-Facility Management business lines, contract sites, and Home Office departments along with the associated Cross Functional Team (CFT) organizations in documenting, certifying, and maintaining all quality systems within all Tessera certified operating locations. 

• Responsible for the ISO Quality System’s compliance through certified audited systems and quality assurance program 

• Supports all operational locations by providing guidance and assistance to achieve and maintain the company’s quality objectives, including ISO 9001, CIMS-GB, and AS9100D certifications. Janitorial contracts that previously achieved third-party ISO certification and are now part of the West Sound BOSC will be expected to maintain their ISO9001 certification. 

• Responsible for all activity results as they relate to quality and ISO systems planning and execution. 

• Works with operational managers to formulate and implement policies and procedures to facilitate, clarify, and correct Tessera system processes. 

• Analyzes measured performance results and efficiency of the systems and recommends corrective actions, as needed. 

• Develops strategies for customer support pertaining to quality assurance/performance improvement activities and oversees reporting as required with submission of root cause analysis and findings. 

• Manages corporate level documents and changes to the system  

• Interfaces with and proactively collaborates with regulatory, development, and operational functions associated with the non-Facility Management business lines and contract sites to meet Tessera deliverables and achieve timely approvals. Participates in cross-functional teams as required to meet relevant requirements, collaborates and reviews systems reporting and internal processes. 

• Responsible for developing and executing long-term operations reporting procedures in the ISO 9001, CIMS-GB, and AS9100D system, as well as the short-term tactical operational reporting procedures and activities of the divisions with a goal to maximize ease and speed of deployment, reduce costs, and provide outstanding internal and external customer support. 

• Assist in development of new systems or testing methodologies as required. Deliver, maintain, and control issuance and maintenance of the Quality Management Sytem’s policies and procedures. 

• Act as the Lead Quality Auditor, whose responsibility it will be to run quality audit teams during audits. Plan, schedule, lead, and document Quality Systems audits to assure compliance. 

• Responsible for achieving and producing periodic review data. 

• Travel as required to Tessera operational locations nationwide. 

• Assist Quality Director with Quality department operations 

• Train Quality department staff and field Quality Inspectors to the Quality arena 

• Manage and evaluate Quality Management and assurance systems performance 

• Establish departmental quality customer service levels 

• Identify procedures that require updating, implement recommended changes and make necessary changes as required. 

• Ensure that all departments/employees impacted by changes are informed/involved as needed to ensure successful implementation. 

• Coordinate and track departmental responsibilities and requests on areas of concern that need to be addressed and/or communicated.

Summary of desired skills and experience for the Tessera Quality Program Manager: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Systems or related field is required  

• 8+ years of previous Quality Systems Management experience is required 

• Combination of education and previous experience will be considered 

• Must be mobile and able to work in a diverse, high-pressure, and fast-paced environment 

• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of Tessera organization 

• Must have high attention to detail 

• Travel to Tessera sites is required  

• A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
