What you’ll do - Ko tōu ake mahi

Join a team that combines rigorous data analysis with real-world impact. You'll work with some of New Zealand's richest health and linked administrative datasets to help answer important questions about health outcomes, service utilisation, and system performance. Our work supports policy, planning, and decision-making across the health system.

What you'll do

• Work with health and administrative datasets to support analysis and reporting.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data to inform decision-making.
• Assist with statistical analysis, data preparation, and interpretation of results.
• Communicate findings clearly through reports, presentations, and visualisations.
• Build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to understand information needs and support better health outcomes.

What you’ll bring - Ko ngā pūkenga ōu

• Curiosity and an interest in using data to solve real-world problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work with data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
• Experience using, or a willingness to learn, tools such as SQL, R, or Python.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to explain information clearly.
