Role summary:The (USA) Technician, General Facilities Maintenance, is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. This role involves diagnosing issues, conducting repairs across multiple trades, managing work orders, and coordinating with contractors while adhering to regulatory standards. The technician supports operational efficiency by maintaining accurate records, recommending improvements, and responding promptly to maintenance needs. What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
- Inspect, clean, and repair facilities equipment, documenting signs of wear and recommending necessary repairs or replacements.
- Conduct major and minor repairs using multiple craft skills including electrical diagnostics, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Utilize blueprints, repair manuals, and tools to diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor activities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and warranty claims.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and facility repairs to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics and repairs, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues using technical manuals and blueprints.
- Proficient in utilizing hand and power tools, hoists, and other equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ability to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to recommend repairs and replacements to prevent future issues.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade or 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.Valid Driver's License.
Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
