Financial Accountant - (Fully Remote Contract)

FULLY REMOTE CONTRACT available for a technically sound CA(SA), AGA(SA) or SAICA Articled Accountant - we're open to the right level for the right person.

As a Financial Accountant, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of entities, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and insight-driven financial analysis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys both technical accounting and problem-solving in a dynamic setting.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage the monthly and quarterly accounting and reporting for a portfolio of entities in your jurisdiction
• Prepare and review complex transactions including acquisitions, disposals, refinancing and build-to-suit deals
• Reconcile third-party financial statements against the company's own books and records
• Analyse and book intercompany and related-party transactions
• Handle AP invoice coding, VAT, real estate tax and tenant recharge calculations
• Prepare balance sheet analyses and income statement variance commentary for closing packs
• Own local GAAP or IFRS financial statement preparation and support statutory audits
• Contribute to forecasting, ad hoc reporting for Legal, Treasury and Asset Management, and ongoing process improvement
