Location: Talking Stick Golf Club – Scottsdale, AZ
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager / Lead Server
Job Type: Seasonal (Weekends, Holidays & Evenings Required
Position Summary
Talking Stick Golf Club is looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Host/Hostess to be
the welcoming face of our dining areas. As the first and last point of contact for guests, you will
play a key role in creating a positive and polished experience for everyone who visits.
The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, and enjoys working in a guest-focused, fast-paced
environment. This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing team in a scenic and fun
atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly and with genuine hospitality
- Manage waitlists and reservation systems accurately
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Communicate seating needs with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand, entrance, and front-of-house area
- Answer phone calls professionally and assist with guest inquiries
- Help with to-go orders, special event check-ins, and guest directions
- Monitor table rotation and support the flow of service during busy hours
- Assist with light side work as needed (rolling silverware, setting tables, etc.)

Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and walking throughout the shift
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with POS or reservation systems is a plus
