About the Department
UOB Private Bank is dedicated to managing the wealth of high-net-worth individuals with investment assets of $5 million and above. Keeping in mind our clients’ financial objectives, we provide tailored products and solutions that draw on the Group’s comprehensive suite of personal, business and investment services.
Job Responsibilities
Investment Advisors (IA) are key investment specialists within the front office team. Their primary responsibility is to develop investment strategies and collaborate with Senior Client Advisors (SCA) to manage client portfolios. They partner with SCA during client meetings to present investment ideas, concepts, create proposals, and conduct portfolio reviews.
Serve as the primary client contact and trusted investment advisor, engaging in direct investment advisory, assessing suitability, identifying product-specific opportunities, providing portfolio advice, and executing after-sales activities in collaboration with Client Advisors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients by delivering tailored investment solutions and ensuring an exceptional client experience.
Oversee risk management practices within advisory services to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Participate in client events, collaborating closely with SCA to deliver effective product and investment solutions to clients.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Banking
A minimum of 15 years of experience in investment advisory, including at least 5 years in Private Banking
In-depth knowledge of investment products, foreign exchange, risk management, and other areas related to investment advisory.
Exceptional client relationship management skills, with experience advising high-net-worth clients.
Highly disciplined and self-motivated, with strong teamwork abilities
The job holder will be registered as Relevant Individual under HKMA and SFC guideline
Chartered Financial Analyst will be an advantage
Holder of ECF on Private Wealth Management (PWM) accredited by Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) is preferred.
