Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Security Presence in Sylmar, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, production personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of studio facilities, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, visitor activity, and delivery traffic; verify authorization in accordance with site-specific policies and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Support a professional environment by providing clear directions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and following Allied Universal and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
