Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Morning Corporate Highrise Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, report concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a government facility.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct individuals to appropriate facility locations in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
