Restaurant General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Restaurant General Manager for our upscale venue located in Wabash, IN. What we desire is a strong leader with good working knowledge of wine and craft cocktails. If you are a true maitre d, a master of your domain, who can operate a restaurant as if it were your own house, providing a fine dining atmosphere, where everyone feels welcome and recognized, you could be an ideal candidate for this position. This isn't a role for someone looking to maintain the flow; it’s a mission to retrain the staff in the steps of elevated service, provide knowledge and guidance in a warm, fine dining atmosphere, and foster a healthy workplace culture. GM Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Execute a food and beverage strategy focused on guest satisfaction, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Financial Management: Manage annual budgets, long-term forecasts, and provide regular analysis of sales, labor efficiency, and cost controls.
• Team Development: Hire, mentor, and inspire a diverse team to maintain high service standards across all outlets.
• Operational Oversight: Ensure a safe, compliant, and sanitary environment while optimizing workflows for both front- and back-of-house.
• Brand Ambassador: Act as a visible leader to cultivate guest relationships and collaborate with marketing teams on promotional campaigns and high-profile events.

GM Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience in a full-service upscale casual or fine dining restaurant.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree and a wine certification is preferred.
• Expertise: Proven track record in financial acumen, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to build consensus across cross-functional teams.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft 365 and modern hospitality technologies.

Compensation:

• Annual Base Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
