Role Overview
The Senior Human Capital Consultant works in a client-facing role, advising clients on talent and organizational development challenges. The Consultant is expected to contribute across the end-to-end consulting engagement cycle, starting with opportunity identification and development, followed by proposal development, and through to project execution and delivery.
The Consultant works as part of project teams to deliver high-quality HR transformation engagements across a range of industries. Typical projects include organization design, organizational structures and levels, competency frameworks, job descriptions, performance management systems, succession planning, rewards and compensation, HR policies and processes, and process improvement.
The Consultant is expected to demonstrate strong technical capabilities and professional knowledge, stay current with relevant business and industry trends, and build strong relationships with clients. The role includes responsibility for delivering high-quality work, monitoring project progress and risks, and keeping key stakeholders informed of progress and expected outcomes.
The Consultant also contributes to research and thought leadership and, where assigned, coaches and supports junior team members. The role may involve working on regional projects and travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential business opportunities and prospective clients and build relationships to support lead generation and business growth.
- Support the development of business opportunities by understanding client needs, defining potential solutions, and maintaining regular communication with prospective and existing clients.
- Conduct research and contribute to the development of technical and commercial proposals.
- Develop solutions across organization transformation, organization design, job descriptions, performance management, competency frameworks, succession planning, and rewards and compensation.
- Develop HR policies in line with applicable labor laws and leading practices.
- Review HR processes and controls and recommend process improvement solutions.
- Lead the day-to-day execution of project activities in line with agreed project plans and direction from senior team members.
- Develop high-quality project deliverables, analyses, reports, and presentation materials.
- Manage assigned projects and workstreams within agreed timelines and budgets, allocate tasks to team members, and conduct first-round reviews of project deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery, proactively addressing client needs and keeping key stakeholders informed of progress and expected outcomes.
- Manage and nurture key client accounts to support ongoing relationships and identify potential follow-on opportunities.
- Conduct secondary research and stay current with local, regional, and international trends in human capital and business advisory.
Desired Profile
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in HR consulting, advisory, professional services, and/or organizational development roles, preferably within a reputable project-based or consulting environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge across relevant human capital and organizational development areas.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to conduct secondary research, gather market intelligence, and develop sound, evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong project delivery skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating creative thinking and rigorous analysis in addressing business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and digital tools to enhance research, analysis, problem-solving, and the quality and efficiency of consulting deliverables.
- Ability to develop and analyze process maps using Visio or similar process-mapping tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, and Visio.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and learn independently.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to work on regional projects and travel as required.
Location
- The position is based in Jordan. The Consultant may be required to travel to GCC countries from time to time to support project-related activities and client engagements.
