As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. - Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
- Verify credentials, issue and collect visitor badges, maintain access logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
- Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communication systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols and notifying site contacts as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, operational buildings, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
