Role Summary:

As an Art Director, you’ll contribute to the visual direction of a wide range of projects across multiple mediums. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills with the ability to imagine visual styles. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in translating creative direction into actionable art and design.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with ACD’s, Creative Directors, Copywriters, Production Graphic Designers and other team members to create innovative concepts that effectively communicate messages through compelling visual storytelling.
• Develops creative that resonates with target audiences, and aligns to overall marketing goals.
• Creates high-quality, detailed work for various formats, including print, digital, social media, video, and branding materials that connect back to Cinemarks creative campaigns.
• Partners with ACD’s, Project Stakeholders and Channel Owners to understand project goals, feedback, and vision.
• Works closely with Copywriters to seamlessly integrate art and copy, creating cohesive concepts and compelling creative experiences.
• Assists ACD’s in developing shotlists and partnering with photographers, videographers and other outside vendors to create best-in-category content.
• Ensures consistency and integrity across all touchpoints, seamlessly translating art direction into effective design executions while maintaining a strong, cohesive brand identity.
• Develops content that’s native to the various channels ensuring performance and optimization as we learn how well it performs. 
• Assist in the presentation of concepts, confidently articulating art and design decisions with clarity and authority.
• Stays up to date on industry trends, art styles and new technologies that can be leveraged to enhance the creative product.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a design or art direction role.
• BA in Advertising, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Proficient in Mac-based Adobe Creative Cloud and AI-powered creative tools.
• Self-starter with an upstart spirit to produce content in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to translate conceptual direction, constructive feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio of work that demonstrates breakthrough art direction for creative campaigns.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, but also can work independently based on task.
