Our client is a well-established retailer specializing in leather products and premium lifestyle accessories.
Job Overview
The Shop Manager will oversee daily retail operations, drive sales performance, lead the store team, manage inventory, and maintain high standards of customer service and visual merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the store team to achieve monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coach, mentor, and develop sales staff to improve performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Manage inventory, stock replenishment, and stock control.
- Maintain store presentation, window displays, and promotional activities in line with brand standards.
- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and store safety.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with buying and retail operations teams to support smooth store operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience in fashion, footwear, or premium lifestyle retail.
- Degree, diploma, or professional qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, or Retail Management is preferred.
- Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Knowledge of Sinhala or Tamil is an advantage.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with a strong customer service focus.
