Payroll Specialist

Just In Trend is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Specialist to join our team. This key role will be responsible for all aspects of payroll from processing to distribution. The individual will be working with the HR team and various departments to ensure accuracy and timely execution of the company's payroll. The ideal candidate should be proficient with payroll software, possess excellent skills in mathematics and finance, and have a strong understanding of compliance regulations and legal requirements related to payroll. Responsibilities: Responsible for accurate input of all payroll-related data into the company's payroll system, ensuring that all employees are compensated correctly. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal tax and wage laws to ensure compliance with regulations at all times. Conducting audits of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data. Responsible for year-end processing tasks, including W-2 distribution, and associated reporting. Maintain employee confidentiality and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and payroll software. Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a payroll position, preferably within a team-based environment. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills with high level of integrity and confidentiality.
