Sales Manager (Dental Equipment)

Are you an experienced sales leader with a passion for coaching teams, driving commercial outcomes, and building strong customer relationships?

Reporting to the Head of Equipment and Service, this role is responsible for driving sales growth, improving margin performance, developing team capability, and executing strategic initiatives that support the continued success of the business.

About the Role

Leading a team of approximately 10 Equipment Sales Specialists, you will be responsible for delivering sales and margin growth across a diverse portfolio of dental equipment including treatment units, imaging, sterilisation, and plant room solutions.

Success in this role will come from your ability to motivate and develop a high performing sales team, strengthen collaboration across the business, and identify opportunities to maximise commercial performance.

You will also play a key role in driving adoption of new sales tools and embedding a stronger focus on preventative maintenance and service solutions as part of the equipment sales process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a national Equipment Sales team.
• Drive sales growth, margin improvement and budget achievement.
• Execute and continuously refine the equipment sales strategy.
• Increase focus on high-margin and exclusive product portfolios.
• Build stronger alignment between Equipment Sales, Consumables Sales and Service teams.
• Drive greater uptake of preventative maintenance and service plans as part of equipment sales.
• Improve adoption and utilisation of sales tools and systems, including Salesforce CPQ.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse results and implement improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Service, Finance, Marketing and other stakeholders to deliver business objectives.
• Support key corporate, group practice and government opportunities where required.

You will bring:

• Minimum 3 years of sales leadership experience within Dental, Medical Devices, Healthcare, or a related industry.
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving profitable growth.
• Experience leading and developing high performing sales teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of margin focused selling.
• Experience implementing sales strategies and leading teams through change.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to influence and collaborate across multiple business functions.
• Strong customer relationship and account management capability.
• Exposure to corporate, government or tender based sales environments (desired)
