Software Architect – Enterprise Platforms (Onsite, Karachi, PKR Salary)

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years in a Lead Engineer or Architect role.
• Strong expertise in .NET / .NET Core, SQL, and backend architecture.
• Proven experience designing scalable distributed systems and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, along with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with SaaS, PaaS, FinTech, OTT, or other high-scale platforms.
• Proven engineering leadership and technical decision-making abilities, with technical ownership beyond code contribution.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, observability, and AI-driven development practices.
• Ability to make architecture decisions aligned with scalability and business goals while balancing long-term architecture with delivery speed.
• Strong mentorship skills focused on building and maintaining high engineering standards.
• Ability to confidently represent technical direction both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and technical design of enterprise-grade systems, with ownership of scalability, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Mentor engineering teams and define engineering standards.
• Drive cloud infrastructure strategy across AWS and Azure environments.
• Participate in client-facing technical discussions and solution design.
• Ensure disciplined development practices, including CI/CD, documentation, code reviews, and testing.
• Promote AI-assisted development and modern engineering practices.
