Job Description:
Are you an experienced Credit & Collections professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving operational excellence? Join Sibelco as Credit & Collections Coordinator and help shape the future of our Order-to-Cash operations.
We are looking for a proactive Credit & Collections Coordinator to lead our Credit & Collections activities while supporting the continuous improvement of processes across the Order-to-Cash function. Based in Bilbao, you will play a key role in optimizing cash collection, mitigating credit risk, and fostering strong collaboration across Finance, Commercial, Customer Service, and Information Systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining operational expertise with team leadership. - Coordinating daily team activities while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous development across the function.
- Partnering with Commercial, Customer Service, Finance, and Information Systems to resolve customer issues, improve processes, and support business objectives.
- Monitoring customer portfolios, payment performance, credit limits, and reporting, while driving initiatives to improve cash flow and reduce overdue debt.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects, system enhancements, and process standardization across Credit & Collections and Treasury operations.
To be successful in this role, you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Credit & Collections, Accounts Receivable, or Order-to-Cash, including experience coordinating teams or leading operational initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk management, collection processes, customer account management, and financial reporting.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP; knowledge of GetPaid or similar Credit & Collections platforms is considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive mindset, strong resilience, and fluency in English.
