The primary purpose of this role is to manage and maintain the technical health and configuration of the Workday Talent and Recruiting modules. By aligning Workday best practices with business needs, you will enable fluid talent acquisition and performance workflows, ensuring high-quality data integrity and system usability across the enterprise as part of the Sandoz Transformation Enterprise Program (STEP).Job Description
Major accountabilities:
- Workday Recruiting:
- Workflow Configuration: Build and maintain Job Requisitions, Job Applications, and Hiring Business Processes (BPs).
- Candidate Experience: Design career sites, configure candidate self-scheduling, and manage offer letter templates.
- Sourcing & CRM: Implement target talent pools, referral programs, and integrations with AI tools like HiredScore.
- Compliance: Set up and monitor OFCCP or regional compliance tracking within the recruitment pipeline
- Workday Talent & Performance:
- Goal & Performance Management: Configure continuous feedback models, review templates, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
- Talent & Succession Planning: Design talent review grids, succession pools, and career development plans.
- Skills Cloud & Talent Marketplace: Embed machine learning to map candidate and employee skills to internal gigs, roles, and development needs.
- Technical Architecture & Security:
- Security Configuration: Manage role-based, user-based, and intersection security for hiring managers, recruiters, and talent partners.
- Integrations & Reporting: Build and maintain Custom Reports, Calculated Fields, and EIBs to sync recruitment data with Core HCM and external assessment vendors.
- Release Management: Test and validate new features during Workday’s bi-annual (R1/R2) releases to prevent system regression.
- Strategic & Operational
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with HR leadership to reduce time-to-hire, identify skill gaps, and improve talent retention.
- Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy across the full talent lifecycle, from external applicant to internal promoted employee.
Responsible for performing all assigned activities in compliance with GxP regulations, company SOPs, and data integrity requirements.
Key performance indicators:
- Requirements Analysis: Measure the effectiveness of collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring they are clearly defined and documented.
- Solution Design: Track the development of comprehensive solution designs that align with business objectives and leverage different technologies.
- Implementation Management: Measure the quality, timeliness, and budget adherence of implemented technology solutions.
- Integration: Evaluate the seamless integration of systems and the resolution of any technical challenges that arise.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Track the development and execution of test plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Documentation: Measure the completeness and accuracy of documentation for solution designs, implementation plans, and testing results.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- Workday Pro Certification in relevant modules
Work Experience:
- Direct involvement in at least 2 to 3 full life-cycle enterprise-wide Workday deployments in Recruitment and Talent & Performance in global setup.
- Deep technical understanding of Workday modules (e.g., Core HCM, Recruitment and Talent & Performance).
- Proven experience designing enterprise solutions leveraging toolkits like EIB.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing Workday data and tenant design structures.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
