Athletics & Recreation
Position Summary:
- Prepare, maintain, organize, and distribute team equipment for practices, games, and team activities.
- Ensure all team uniforms, apparel, and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
- Coordinate equipment setup and takedown for practices and competitions as required.
- Monitor equipment inventory levels and identify equipment needs for student-athletes and the team.
- Maintain records related to equipment usage, inventory, repairs, and replacement schedules.
- Analyze equipment-related data and trends, identify operational needs, and provide recommendations and reports to the Head Coach.
- Support the coaching staff in the implementation of practice and game plans through effective equipment and operational management.
- Assist with weekly administrative duties and special projects as assigned by immediate supervisor
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
- Demonstrated equipment management, inventory management practices, organizational, or operational experience in hockey is required
- Knowledge of and/or previous practical experience working with elite, university, junior, or competitive hockey programs is considered an asset. Demonstrated initiative and strong work ethic.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, punctual, team-oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of French and English.
***Safe Sport and CCES Anti-doping training and coursework are mandatory
***Selected candidates must successfully pass their criminal background check.
