Principal Programmer - R

Overview

As a Principal Programmer you will be a key member of our FSP team, supporting one of our key global pharmaceutical clients - using primarily R for programming activities, as well as occasionally SAS. You will hold a hands-on technical role, will lead studies and may be able to line manage other programmers within the team (if desired).

 

The is a full-time, remote and permanent position. We are considering candidates located in Canada only for this role.

Qualifications

• Educated to BSc or above within Computer Science, Mathematics or a Science related discipline
• 7-8+ years of programming experience within a CRO/pharmaceutical industry
• R programming experience within a CRO/pharmaceutical industry (essential)
• SAS programming experience within a CRO/pharmaceutical industry
• Good awareness of clinical trial issues, design, and implementation
• Familiarity with GCP and regulatory requirements
• Practical experience working with CDISC standards i.e. SDTM and ADaM datasets (essential)
• Previous Lead experience
