Role Summary:
A Payroll Processor/Specialist will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for Cinemark Holdings. This role will be responsible for applying procedures and exercising judgement to support managers and employees and process accurate payroll.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation and processing of biweekly payroll for over 22,000 employees; review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets.
- Confirm and deduct appropriate taxes, garnishments and other special payroll deductions.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve concerns timely.
- Responsible for employee updating employee records.
- Electronically files all employee forms.
- Back up for payroll tax, unemployment and garnishment remittance.
- Handles all I-9 tracking, management and compliance.
Requirements:
- 2 - 3 years of experience in multi-state, multi-location, payroll processing, familiarity with federal and state regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highest level of confidentiality
- Detail-oriented
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently but be a strong team player
