Project Info:
ACCIONA is part of the ActivUs Alliance, delivering the $5.75 billion Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project with CPB Contractors, UGL, SMEC and WSP. The project will upgrade a 20km rail corridor between Kuraby and Beenleigh, boosting capacity and reliability ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
About the Opportunity:
As Senior Advisor, Community and Stakeholder, you will lead engagement efforts across multiple work fronts and station precincts for this landmark project. Reporting to the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you will manage stakeholder enquiries, prepare communication materials, oversee the Open Point stakeholder database and support media and corporate communications, working alongside an Advisor or Coordinator, Community & Stakeholder.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage stakeholder enquiries and complaints
- Prepare works notifications, fact sheets and newsletters
- Maintain the Open Point stakeholder database
- Support Community Information Sessions and Reference Groups
- Assist with stakeholder management reporting
- Develop high-level messaging for media and hot issues
- Prepare internal updates and corporate communications
Required Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR or Journalism
- Experience in stakeholder or community engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Certificate in Engagement (IAP2) highly regarded
- Confident managing sensitive or complex issues
