About this Unit:
The purpose of the Administration & Finance Division is to ensure that available financial resources are used effectively and efficiently, and to ensure that state funds are spent in compliance with statute, fiscal rule, and Department policy.
About this Position:
The primary purpose of this position is organizing, interpreting, and reporting the Administration & Finance Division within the Department of Human Services financial data in concert with the Finance Manager and Chief Financial Officer. You will also assist with CDHS Operations financial reporting ($22.7M), OIT utilization planning, tracking OIT/BITS/CBMS/CoBEES contracts and purchases, and synthesizing data for Consolidated LB Executive Level Reporting. Furthermore, you will provide granular financial tracking for Special Purposes programs, including the Administrative Review Unit ($4.7M / 42.4 FTE), SNAP Quality Assurance ($1.5M / 15.3 FTE), the 2-1-1 Human Services Referral Service ($1.5M / 1.0 FTE), Quality Assurance Youth Services ($786,000 / 7.0 FTE), Records and Reports of Child Abuse and Neglect ($452,000 / 4.0 FTE), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 - Security Remediation ($230,000 / 1.0 FTE), and the Injury Prevention Program ($106,000).
