Manager, People Operations & HRBP – India & APAC

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Manager, People Operations & HRBP – India & APAC to lead and scale People Operations across the region while partnering closely with managers and business leaders as an HR Business Partner.

This role will own the employee lifecycle and operational foundation across India and APAC, including onboarding, offboarding, employment documentation, HR policies, compliance, and People programs. In addition, the role will provide hands-on HRBP support to leaders on employee relations, performance, organizational changes, and people-related decisions.

Reports to: Chief People Officer

What you'll do:

• Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle across India and APAC, from offer acceptance through offboarding.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding programs, ensuring a seamless and consistent employee experience.
• Manage employment offers, contracts, compensation changes, promotions, transfers, and other employee documentation.
• Own HR policies, handbooks, and operational processes while ensuring compliance with local employment laws.
• Partner with business leaders and managers as an HRBP, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, organizational changes, and people decisions.
• Support performance reviews, promotions, compensation cycles, employee engagement initiatives, and other People programs.
• Coach managers on effective people management, feedback, performance conversations, and policy application.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, and Talent Acquisition to ensure effective and scalable People processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate HR processes, systems, and workflows.
• Develop and track People Operations metrics and provide insights to inform business and people decisions.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR policies, processes, and employee lifecycle matters.
• Help build scalable People programs and processes as the organization grows across India and APAC.
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• 7–10 years of experience in People Operations, HRBP, or HR Operations roles, ideally in a high-growth or global organization.
• Strong experience managing employee lifecycle operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employment documentation, and HR compliance.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with managers and business leaders as an HRBP.
• Strong knowledge of Indian employment law; experience supporting APAC markets is a plus.
• Experience with performance management, employee relations, organizational changes, and HR programs.
• Strong project management, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, HiBob, Rippling, Workday, or similar.
• A hands-on, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach with a strong focus on employee experience and operational excellence.
