Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION
A member of the executive management team, who reports directly to the Yulista MIM Group Senior Vice President, and has primary responsibility for successful management and growth of the Yulista Globe Tech Joint Venture (YGT-JV) company. This includes developing and maintaining stellar customer relations with USG stakeholders at Detroit Arsenal (DTA), as well as with Globe Tech owners and key stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensure YGT financial growth and development goals are achieved.
Ensure YGT training, policies, and procedures are adequate and enforced.
Attract, retain, and motivate matrixed staff.
Ensure stellar customer relationships are maintained.
Leads organizational change and improvements.
Successfully lead “must win” business pursuits.
Develop new business opportunities
Maintain customer relations
Ensure YGT JV agreement and business plan objectives are met.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None initially; potential for subordinate staff with YGT JV growth.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
DoD Acquisition system knowledge
General knowledge of programs and program requirements with focus on Ground Combat Systems
Knowledge of defense appropriations, POM, and budget cycle
Major acquisition experience
Ability to evaluate and approve all contract actions for multi-million-dollar ID/IQ contract.
Ability to lead and motivate groups and individuals.
Ability to think creatively and strategically to successfully mediate and negotiate with individuals and groups internally and externally.
Ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and master’s degree in business, contracts, or engineering highly desired, plus 20+ years relevant experience.
This position requires strong attention to customer requirements, programmatic detail, and systematic follow-through, use of independent judgment, and excellent communications and people management skills.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at minimum of “Secret” level
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
A fast-paced multi-tasking customer service-oriented environment requires a high degree of efficient and effective performance. Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities. Overtime may be required.
