We are seeking a Specialist, Product Management – AI & Financial Reconciliation to support the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered and API-enabled reconciliation products. This is a generalist product role that spans agentic AI features, API product support, and analytical enablement. You will work closely with senior product managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to translate reconciliation domain requirements into clear product artifacts, assist in API capability analysis, and help drive execution across the product lifecycle.
This role is well-suited to someone with a solid foundation in product management and a growing interest in AI/ML and fintech, who wants to work at the intersection of financial operations and intelligent automation.
Responsibilities:
Product Execution & Requirements
- Support the authoring of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, EPICs, and acceptance criteria for AI-powered and API-driven reconciliation features
- Assist in translating reconciliation business rules, exception-handling logic, and operational workflows into structured, execution-ready product requirements
- Maintain and groom the product backlog; coordinate sprint activities with engineering, QA, and data teams
- Track and report on delivery progress, flagging risks and dependencies to the product lead
- Contribute to product discovery activities including user interviews, workflow mapping, and requirement validation with internal stakeholders
API & Analytical Product Support
- Support analysis and documentation of API capabilities for reconciliation and operational intelligence products, including endpoint behavior, data contracts, integration patterns, and versioning requirements
- Assist in defining API use cases for internal and external consumers — issuers, acquirers, processors, and operations teams
- Collaborate with engineering on API specifications, sandbox testing, and integration documentation
- Analyze product usage data, API telemetry, and operational metrics to surface insights and inform prioritization decisions
- Support A/B testing, experimentation design, and KPI tracking for product features across both agentic and API-driven experiences
AI Feature Support
- Develop working familiarity with AI/ML concepts relevant to reconciliation including LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and anomaly detection
- Support evaluation and testing of AI-generated reconciliation outputs, contributing to acceptance criteria around accuracy, auditability, and exception
- handling
- Assist in documenting human-in-the-loop (HITL) controls, fallback logic, and compliance checkpoints for agentic features
- Help maintain product documentation, release notes, and internal enablement materials for AI-powered capabilities
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with operations, finance, and compliance teams to gather requirements and validate product decisions
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences through written artifacts and meeting facilitation
- Support go-to-market activities including client onboarding documentation, feature summaries, and training content
- Assist senior product managers in preparing materials for leadership reviews, roadmap planning, and business case development
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related role within a technology-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to write clear product requirement documents, user stories, and functional specifications
- Foundational understanding of API concepts including REST APIs, data contracts, request/response structures, and integration patterns
- Exposure to financial operations, reconciliation, payments, or fintech is preferred but not required; strong willingness to develop domain knowledge quickly
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts at a conceptual level — LLMs, automation, anomaly detection — and interest in deepening that knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data to inform product decisions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of producing clear documentation and presenting to diverse audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Business, or a related field required
- MBA or coursework in AI/ML, data science, or financial systems is a plus
Preferred Technical Exposure:
- Experience using tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar for API documentation and testing
- Exposure to SQL or data querying for product analytics
- Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent
- Basic awareness of agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) or ML platforms is a plus, not a requirement
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or event-driven architectures is beneficial
