Description
Description
At The Project, you will do work that matters for people who are too often overlooked. We are celebrating 40 years of providing affirming healthcare and supportive services to people living with HIV, those most at risk, and the broader LGBTQ+ community, and we welcome everyone who walks through our doors. We are looking for people who believe health care should meet people where they are. Learn more at www.tpqc.org.
The Project is excited to announce that we are seeking a Data Operations Specialist to turn complex client, program, and operational data into practical tools—dashboards, reports, and worklists—that strengthen care coordination, improve outcomes, and advance TPQC’s mission. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Data Operations Specialist is a key member of our Operations team who translates data from across the organization into clear, reliable, and actionable information for staff and leadership. You will develop dashboards and recurring reports, create worklists and data tools that support proactive client follow-up, and strengthen data quality and reporting processes across programs.
Responsibilities Include:
- Design and maintain data systems, dashboards, and reports that consolidate information from multiple programs (medical, case management, behavioral health, prevention, pharmacy, etc.) into a shared view for staff.
- Translate raw data into actionable information, including prioritized outreach lists, workflow dashboards, and exception reports for missing or incomplete data
- Partner with managers and program leads to define program and workflow level performance indicators and develop practical tools to monitor progress toward those measures.
- Integrate program-specific data from multiple systems—including Ryan White, prevention, behavioral health, housing, pharmacy/340B, and other service areas—into reports that support understanding of client movement across the continuum of care.
- Maintain documentation of data sources, definitions, and correction logs to support audits, compliance reviews, and funder reviews.
- Gather feedback from users and work with leadership to refine tools to better fit daily operations.
This full-time position is based at our office in Moline. This is a non-supervisory position.
This posting highlights the key aspects of the role; a full job description is available for review during the hiring process.
Compensation
Compensation starts at $22.40 per hour (annualized at $46,598). The final salary offered is determined by years of professional and/or lived experience beyond the minimum requirement, with an additional 2.5% for those proficient in a second language relevant to the role.
Our compensation structure is experience-centric and not contingent on education. As part of our commitment to pay equity, salaries are non-negotiable and include an annual cost of living increase. We have historically prioritized broad, equitable adjustments over performance-based increases, with the understanding that our approach may evolve.
Requirements

- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information and apply privacy and data-security practices appropriate to client and patient data.

- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences, health information, data analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
