Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Support Program Manager, Supervisors, and Community Support Workers (CSWs) to ensure high-quality services are delivered to clients in
accordance with EmberHope contracts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Supervision
- Assist Supervisors, Program Administrator, and Program Manager with program needs.
- Provide direction, support, and occasional training to CSWs as assigned.
- Enforce all Pyxis policies, model professional behavior, maintain clean, orderly spaces and hold clients/staff accountable.
- Manage sign-in/out procedures, maintain client–staff ratios and complete client write-ups, communicating shift updates to leadership.
- Support CSWs with problem-solving, daily client needs, and serve as point of contact during crisis when leadership is unavailable.
- Provide direct client support, including transportation.
- Conduct required safety walk-throughs at designated intervals.
- Delegate tasks when requested by leadership and ensure completion.
Administrative Duties
- Complete service documentation daily and within 24 hours, reporting critical incidents and submitting required documentation.
- Support meal planning, grocery lists, and occasional shopping.
- Attend required meetings and trainings. Miscellaneous
- Maintain company vehicles and report maintenance needs.
- Ensure medications are secured and client belongings are sent home daily.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: College Degree in Social Services or similar.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, train, and motivate team members.
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and stay organized.
- Professional, positive attitude with the ability to build supportive relationships, with a team-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn
- attitude.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with youth with behavioral or mental health challenges or in foster care.
- De-escalation training or experience.
- 1+ years in human services or a related bachelor’s degree.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work occurs in the community and office settings, with frequent travel.
- Possible interaction with referral sources and public speaking.
- Must maintain competency in Safe Crisis Management (SCM) interventions.
- Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME
- 75% Direct client services (including but not limited to community outings, meal preparation, drive time, chores, etc.)
- 10% Completion of required documentation
- 10% Crisis assistance
- 5% Meeting participation and trainings
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Starting Pay: $17-$19 per hour (based on experience)
- Night/Weekend Shift Differential: +$5 per hour
- PTO, 401(k), health insurance reimbursement for Full Time
