Job Summary:

As an ECommerce Business Development Manager, you will be a highly driven and analytical leader responsible for owning the digital strategy and execution for both HQ and franchise markets. This role oversees the full Profit and Loss (P&L) of the online store, driving sustained growth and optimizing profitability across regional markets. You will report to the Head of ECommerce, with dotted-line reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, and serve as a critical strategic partner, playing a pivotal role in shaping not only the ECommerce business but also the internal culture and the development of the team. You will collaborate deeply on high-level strategic planning and day-to-day operations to ensure organizational goals are met.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership & Leadership

  • Collaborate extensively with the Head of ECommerce on multi-year strategic planning and the execution of comprehensive growth objectives

  • Maintain a tight daily feedback loop with senior leadership to synthesize data into actionable insights and urgent business decisions

  • Assume full accountability for the ECommerce P&L, managing forecasting, budgeting, and ambitious revenue targets

  • Lead annual and monthly sales planning and performance tracking specifically across SEA and franchise markets

  • Drive alignment between global brand priorities and local execution, leveraging market insights to tailor content for franchise partners

Commercial Planning & Merchandising

  • Plan and execute the commercial calendar, including weekly and quarterly campaigns and promotional activities

  • Collaborate with brand marketing and planning teams to align upcoming collections with sales and marketing targets

Reporting, Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Perform daily and weekly business reviews, delivering recaps to the broader organization and executive leadership

  • Analyse sales performance and customer data to uncover opportunities for site experience, engagement, and conversion improvements

  • Translate market, consumer, and competitor insights into recommendations for pricing, content, and assortment

Digital Marketing & User Experience Alignment

  • Work very closely with the Performance Marketing and CRM teams to align on activities and deliver high-quality traffic to hit objectives

  • Partner with Tech, Product, and Operations teams to lead continuous improvement in the user journey, including checkout conversion and mobile optimization

  • Collaborate with Retail and Store Operations on omnichannel initiatives, such as Click & Collect, to drive a seamless guest experience

  • Oversee the "demand side" of the P&L, ensuring marketing budgets and KPIs are optimized for ROAS and CAC

Team Development & Project Management

  • Play a leading role in coaching and developing a high-performing regional ECommerce team, ensuring individual growth aligns with business objectives

  • Lead end-to-end commercial projects from proposal to implementation with cross-functional teams and external partners

  • Manage and evaluate external ECommerce agencies, setting clear KPIs and performance expectations

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; typically requires 5–8 years of experience in ECommerce management, with a proven track record in P&L ownership

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Salesforce and analytical tools including GA4, Power BI and Excel

  • Leadership & Communication: A collaborative team player with excellent stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams (Creative, IT, Merchandising) and present complex strategies clearly to senior management

  • Analytical Expertise: Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling insights to influence senior decision-making
