- Own end-to-end product development for Hard Lines, including hardware, plastics, charms, and ID tags.
- Own end-to-end product development for Technical Wear including harnesses and leashes.
- Manage all communication with vendors and development partners.
- Drive timeline against key milestone dates to deliver products on-time.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including product design, marketing and planning to bring high quality, attractive products to market that meet our safety standards.
- Ensure every product meets our internal safety and quality standards, with particular attention to hardware failure points, strap/webbing durability, and small-parts safety.
- Own tooling development, sample review, and pre-production approvals for hardware/plastic components.
- 8-10+ years of product development experience in categories where hardware, webbing, straps, or plastics must perform reliably under real stress or safety-critical conditions.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of hardware and strap/webbing systems: how they're constructed, tested, and how they fail under load. Or equivalent expertise in small-parts safety and plastics/hardware engineering for products used by children or pets.
- Track record managing overseas vendors and tooling from concept to launch.
- Strong cross-functional project management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience partnering closely with quality and compliance stakeholders.
- Background in outdoor/technical gear, technical pet products, or juvenile/baby products is strongly preferred
