Director of Practice Services
Location: Keystone Internal Medicine - Welty, Waynesboro, PA
Keystone Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Practice Services to lead the operations of our Internal Medicine Practice in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.
The Director of Practice Services is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, including clinical and administrative staff, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care that aligns with Keystone Health’s mission and values. This leadership role requires a strong commitment to operational excellence, staff development, patient satisfaction, and continuous quality improvement.
The ideal candidate will lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, effective communication, and a collaborative approach when working with patients, providers, and team members. The Director of Practice Services must be confident in decision-making, adaptable to changing priorities, and skilled at balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee daily practice operations to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.
- Supervise, support, and develop clinical and administrative staff.
- Promote a positive patient experience and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Monitor workflow processes and implement improvements to enhance operational performance.
- Collaborate with providers and organizational leadership to achieve practice goals and quality outcomes.
- Serve as a role model through professional conduct, attendance, communication, and teamwork.
Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Previous experience in ambulatory care, office nursing, or healthcare practice management preferred.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives, accreditation standards, and regulatory compliance preferred.
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Ability to travel to Keystone Health locations as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
