Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Event Review in Nazareth, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while reporting security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)Candidates must demonstrate experience in operating and managing alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications, data entry, and communication tools.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)Candidates must possess strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.

• Loss Prevention (B210)Candidates should have experience or knowledge in loss prevention strategies and practices. This includes understanding theft prevention techniques and the ability to identify suspicious behavior.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, authorizing entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintaining visitor and vehicle entry records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing trucks, trailers, and personnel as directed, helping to support controlled movement through gates, docks, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
