Role summary:The Senior Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC, leads and supports HVACR operations by coordinating maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. What you'll do:
- Lead and coordinate HVACR maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Oversee inspections, installations, and modifications of HVACR equipment and Energy Management Systems to maintain quality standards.
- Manage refrigerant levels, parts inventory, and supplier relationships to support operational efficiency.
- Provide technical training and guidance to technicians, promoting best practices and troubleshooting expertise.
- Compile and report budget information, warranty claims, and project scopes to support financial sustainability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement business solutions and continuous improvements aligned with organizational goals.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in HVACR repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including preventive maintenance and major repairs.
- In-depth knowledge of EPA regulations and compliance related to refrigerant handling and environmental safety.
- Proven ability to lead and support teams, providing coaching, feedback, and technical guidance.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local HVACR codes, building standards, and cold chain requirements.
- Skilled in managing HVACR parts inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Experience in completing required documentation and reporting for operational and financial purposes.
- Commitment to safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement in HVACR operations.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: 10 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration. Option 2: 8 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.Universal EPA Certification.
