Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time - Badge Access in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.19 / Hour
Job Schedule:
This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established reporting protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and customer service needs in a healthcare setting.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
