Immanuel Communities is seeking an experienced Full-time Day Cook to work at Lakeside, located at 17475 Frances Street, Omaha, NE 68130.  Lakeside has been voted “Best of Omaha” in the senior living category for 15 years.  It has 89 independent, 49 assisted living and 12 memory support apartment homes along with 18 lofts.

 

There are two positions: one is Wednesday through Saturday 11:00am-7:30pm and Sunday 6:00am-2:30pm. Holidays will be required for this position.  The other is Saturday through Wednesday with most shifts 11:00am-7:30pm and one 6:00am-2:30pm. Holidays also included for this position.This not an entry level position--experience is required.

 

This position will pay up to $19.68/hour.  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including but not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Additionally, assists in any duty as needed in the kitchen area

 

Skills & Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.

One (1) year of cooking experience beyond the level of fast food/fast casual is required.

Minimum age of 18 years old is required.
