Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Job Summary
Electricians' role is central to keeping electrical systems safe, functional, and up to code across operations; Comfortable working independently on-site, has a strong foundation in electrical installation and maintenance, and takes pride in doing quality, safety-conscious work.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Maintenance
- Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment across assigned work sites
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on electrical systems and equipment
- Assist in the setup, testing, and commissioning of new electrical installations as needed
Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, performing timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Coordinate with supervisors and other field technicians to prioritize and complete daily tasks
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all electrical work complies with the Philippine Electrical Code and relevant safety regulations
- Practice and promote proper safety procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents or hazards observed
Site Coordination & Travel
- Travel to different project or work sites as required, following company travel protocols
Qualifications
- TESDA National Certificate II (NC II) in Electrical Installation and Maintenance, or a valid professional electrician's license
- Proven experience working as a field or industrial electrician
- Solid understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices
- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours as project needs require
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
