Job Title: Operations Analyst

As a business we are structured into Demand and Supply functions. The Supply business is composed of Source, Plan, Make and Move sections supported by the governance and manufacturing Excellence teams. The Demand business is involved in marketing and selling the product through RTM partners and retailers to consumers supported by HR, CR & Legal and Finance as enablers Supply is responsible for the overall planning, sourcing, production and warehousing of finished product.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

a)       Leadership Responsibilities

No direct reports. However, as part of a small team there is a high degree of self-sufficiency required in the role with direct accountability to help deliver initiatives for various stakeholders.

 

Purpose of Role

To execute sustainable process improvement by organizing, aligning and leading Manufacturing Excellence (ME) processes leveraging MMS tools and EISC methodologies thus driving effective solution sustainment.

 

Experience / skills required: 

1)      Ensures the MMS platform is optimised to support and assess the change process

2)      Ensure everyone in Supply understands what manufacturing excellence means, is engaged in MMS and is playing their part in delivering a world class production operation.

3)      Closely monitor and report performance and practice progress within Supply.

4)      Engage with the Daily Operational Review meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities

5)      Ensure all global standards are implemented across supply as applicable

6)      Supports loss & waste assessment and problem- solving activities

Qualifications and Experience Required

Qualifications:

·       Graduate in a Supply chain related field preferred

Experience:

·       2- 3 years’ experience in an FMCG environment in a similar role

·       Ability to work with and navigate SAP, Power BI and Advanced Excel

·       Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and OPEX (Six Sigma) tools and the ability to apply them in order to establish robust manufacturing processes

Skills:

·       Proven ability to persuade, influence and build credibility cross the functions.

·       Ability to work autonomously and engage cross-functionally

·       Strong interpersonal skills

·       Solid decision-making and judgment skills

·       Ability to be self-directed and self-motivated

·       Analytical and logical

·       Ability to manage projects, prioritise and work to deadlines

·       Flexible and able to adapt readily to a changing environment
