We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Airport Cleaner to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the airport facilities, including terminal buildings, restrooms, and other public areas. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize airport facilities, including terminal buildings, restrooms, and other public areas
• Empty trash cans and replace liners
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Clean and disinfect surfaces such as countertops, tables, and chairs
• Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
• Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures
• Work efficiently and effectively to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standard
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is an asset
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
