Reporting and leadership position
•Reports to: CEO & Senior Director of People & Culture, US Healthcare Staffing
•Functional alignment: Group Communications Director
•Primary partners: Executive Leadership Team, People & Culture, Legal, Marketing, Technology, Transformation and brand leaders across Favorite, SUMO and other US Healthcare Staffing businesses.
•Leadership forum access: standing participant in Favorite executive leadership meetings and relevant change, transformation and people forums.
•Role structure: director-level individual contributor initially, with potential to lead specialist or coordinator support as business needs mature.
Key responsibilities
•Develop and own the US Healthcare Staffing internal communications and employee engagement strategy, aligned with business priorities and the Acacium Group narrative.
•Serve as a trusted communications advisor to the CEO and executive leaders; shape messaging, leadership visibility, business updates and employee engagement approaches.
•Participate early in material business, organizational and people decisions to advise on communication risk, stakeholder impact, timing, sequencing and employee needs.
•Lead communication strategy and execution for transformation, technology adoption, operating-model change, reorganizations, leadership transitions, role changes and other sensitive initiatives.
•Create communication plans that define audiences, objectives, key messages, senders, channels, timing, approvals, FAQs, manager support, feedback methods and success measures.
•Translate complex, ambiguous or sensitive information into communication that is simple, accurate, direct, humane and appropriate for the audience.
•Plan and deliver town halls, strategic business updates, leadership cascades, live Q&As, CEO videos and other enterprise forums, including leader preparation and follow-through.
•Build manager communication capability through toolkits, talking points, FAQs, pre-briefs, coaching and clear cascade expectations.
•Partner with People & Culture to lead the communication and action-planning cycle for Your Voice and Pulse surveys, ensuring employees can see what was heard, what will change, who owns it and what progress has been made.
•Advance culture and engagement through recognition, storytelling, values activation, employee connection, office and community initiatives and two-way communication.
•Own governance and editorial planning across email, Teams, Viva Engage, SharePoint/intranet, video and live events; ensure content is timely, targeted, accessible and consistent.
•Maintain communication standards, templates, distribution lists, access controls, archives, approval paths and continuity coverage.
•Partner with Group Communications to localize Group priorities for US audiences and elevate relevant US achievements, contract wins and employee stories across Acacium.
•Maintain crisis and business-continuity communication plans for technology outages, operational disruption and other urgent events.
•Measure communication reach, understanding, sentiment, participation, manager effectiveness and change adoption; provide actionable insights to the executive team.
•Use digital, multimedia and AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve speed, quality, personalization and insight while protecting confidentiality and accuracy.
