Program Overview and Benefits: Republic Airways is proud to offer an internship program that prepares students for the workforce. While we provide resources to help interns sharpen skills and make meaningful contributions in their department, we also provide the following during the internships:  

  • Mentorship program  

  • Ability to shadow various departments  

  • Professional development workshops and departmental information sessions 

  • Direct exposure to aviation industry, facilities tours, etc.  

  • Additional opportunities to work with other interns directly on projects   

  • Relocation assistance provided, if applicable

ESSENTIAL DUTIES  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 

  • Researches and collaborates on corporate giving strategy. 

  • Coordinates fundraising efforts for company initiatives. 

  • Manages event planning for local organization partnerships. 

  • Represents Republic Airways and CCR at community events as needed. 

  • Helps plan and implement departmental programs. 

  • Collaborates with other departments to create CCR opportunities across the company. 

  • Writes communication posts and creates graphics/digital content for intern/external communication purposes. 

  • Maintains necessary files related to partnerships and sponsorships. 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or similar field of study 

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale 

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills 

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group 

  • Strong analytical skill 

  • Has a passion for being involved in the community 

  • Able to effectively communicate and present information to senior management. 

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Ability to work onsite at our Carmel Headquarters location, unless otherwise directed by hiring manager 

  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns 

  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documentsAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business communityAbility to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
